Problems and Faults with the W220 S Class

Hello and thanks in advance to anyone who can assist in any way I own a C CDi auto, I bought it with 34, miles and currently it has 41, so only used for very short journeys, well until I got it anyway An example on the motorway cruising at 70mph everything is ok but if the traffic slows to 65mph then put my foot down to speed up the car seems to hestitate.

Kind of chugging or holding back. I cannot get it to do it in any other speeds or gears apart from in 5th at the speed range. It is perfect any other speeds to include speeding up or slowing down and cruises without any probs at 75MPH.

It has recently been serviced at a local Mercedes independant and he scanned the computer all clear and checked the usual EGR, air leaks and actuator?

I have been told it could be either needing a gearbox oil and filter change, this thinking it is something to do with the torque convertor or to replace the EGR? You may have an injector starting to fail?? You could do these cheap options and add some diesel fuel system cleaner to you tank. Fill up only using Shell or BP top quality diesel, see if this makes a difference.
